Joshua Tree National Park was gorgeous in its own special way...so barren and dry with cacti and the great Joshua trees (yucca) in the northwestern part which is the Mojave desert habitat above 3000 feet. along with the Mojave yuccas are prickly pear cacti, blackbush, nolina, pinyon pines, junipers, and scrub oaks. and broke records..it was 27 C in Halifax, NS, but 33 C (about 90 F) at my school in Milford..but then it dropped to 2C overnight (35F). CRAZY! It will be about 12 C today..ahhh...nice while it lasted LOL
