Considered one of the world's most beautiful drives, this road is NOT for the faint of heart or anyone with acrophobia (fear of heights). Yesterday we took the shuttle bus to Logan Pass. The windows were very clean and slightly tinted and I got a lot of not-too-bad photos through them when I was able to get some views without window glare. This three-arch section of the road shows the amazing work that went into building this road which literally hangs on the side of the cliffs.

Wayne gets nervous with heights so he suggested we take the free shuttle bus to Logan's pass. We were both VERY glad we did. I hopped from side to side of the bus taking photos and he sat in the middle 'enjoying'the scenery without having to see the drop-offs.

This little chipmunk was quite happy to pose awhile when we passed him on our snowy hike at Glacier National Park.
We are in Maine tonight..will be home tomorrow...Missy will be happy to see us I hope, even though our neighbours have been treating her well.

Just got home last night....We had perfect weather on our road trip. a few sprinkles north of Billings Montana, and rain in the distance, produced a lovely rainbow. Since there was nothing else to 'frame' on the flat plains, I just had to add the car to the shot. It was dusty and the front was covered in bugs and yellow butterflies in the grill.....poor Wayne was ashamed LOL

We met so many nice folks as we travelled and these two great guys were on a similar road trip.....taking it day by day and just enjoying the scenery. Like us, they stopped to get a shot of the Wyoming state sign. Hope they don't mind me posting their photo. This section of the state was miles and miles of fields and hay bales.
