As sunset's magical light sweeps across the iconic Palouse, I capture a photographer on Steptoe Butte as he captures the colorful dune-like undulations of sunset-lit fields and cottonwood trees. What a fabulous place! Taken in May 2017, a month before photographers line up at this spot since June is the time when photographers swarm to the Palouse in Whitman County, Washington, US.
