This photo (and the others in this album) are of the #JWSTArt exhibit (titled "Far Out") at the Art.Science.Gallery in Austin, Texas. The exhibit ran in the summer of 2017. The art in this exhibit was created as a result of the Artist Event held at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in November of 2016. Over the ensuing winter, the artists created their works, which were displayed at the NASA Goddard Visitors Center in the Spring/Summer of 2017. The artists came from diverse backgrounds, and worked in many different artistic media.
After the Goddard exhibit wrapped up, some of the works were displayed at Art.Science.Gallery, and then the show moved to the Texas Museum of Science & Technology.
