Designed and folded by me from a single uncut square sheet of bicolored tracing paper

My attempt at color change! I had long wanted to fold something related to chess, finally came up with this anthropomorphised chess set :) Very pleased with the result, as I was able to combine 2 of my fav. hobbies!
(The wooden chess set is special to me, a gift from my father, who taught me this wonderful game.)

Since it might not be so clear to recognise all the elements here:-
1. 64 Grids BP: because 64 squares on a chess board
2. Queen on the Throne: because strongest piece
3. 2 knights/horses, 2 Bishops
4. 2 Rooks: Depicted as brick-sided throne.
5. 8 Pawns as Crown Spikes

Scope for improvement - color change on 4 pawns (too small to notice so I skipped), color change on Rook (had no clue on how to do it), King Symbol being a simple Origami Crane (but may have become unrecognisable as King symbol)

I'd designed this model 2 years ago, but couldn't finish it then. Now, the World Chess Championship is in November, and it could be a big one for GM Gukesh!

Tattoos
I mostly used black gel pens/ ink pens and pencils (HB) on office/printer paper A4 sheets - cheap but effective :P
I won't be able to do origami for a while now, so I thought I'd post these drawings here...The shittier the drawing, the younger I was XD.

SO SORRY ! It took longer than I thought ...But this is what I could manage.
Now, the middle portion(the belt area) might be a little confusing. but all you need to concentrate on is getting the 2 flaps for the belt. The photos might be of some help . Shaping again depends on individual skills, so feel free to shape it to your liking ! Happy folding ;)

Another color change :) The other way I was thinking of designing this was like my "ship in a bottle" model, but I think this is much easier.
