On the only occasion that I photographed a Deltic on a timetabled Virgin service train on the S & C, I got bowled by the sun! D9000 "Royal Scots Grey" heads past Selside with the diverted 1S49 10:37 Birmingham to Edinburgh. 13th March 1999.
