47334 is seen passing the site of Eastwood station with 5Z55 Blyth to Ellesmere Port Cawoods containerised coal train. 18th June 1987. This was one of the first trial workings of the Cawoods and when it started running "properly" the train was invariably Class 56-hauled, so this shot of a Class 47 at its head is pretty unique. I was lucky to capture this, as I had no idea it was coming - as one didn't in those days. The soft focus effect is caused by a crap lens that I was using at the time!
