The number of pets abandoned in the UK is increasing, and the RSPCA is concerned about the situation:
In 2023, the RSPCA reported a "perfect storm" of animal welfare emergencies and abandonments. The RSPCA says that the number of abandoned pets is at its highest level in three years.
This guy wasn't actually abandoned.

Several years ago I had a friend who bought his wife a spade (shovel) for Christmas - she didn't speak to him until January.

Looks are all well and good in a climate like California - but no mudguards in the UK!!!!
Ride this in the rain and you will be getting soaked back and front - and all the muck and oil you find on the road. (The back of the guys jacket bore testament to how ineffective that rear "hugger" is).
Down here in the "West Country" like a lot of Britain the roads and lanes are covered in mud, "animal slurry" and bits of damaged trees from the recent storms.
If you are going to ride all year you either need something more practical or two bikes.
I wouldn't want to own it but I would love a couple of hours on a sunny day.

The origins of indexing can be traced back to the 3rd century in the Library of Alexandria, where curators attached tags to scrolls to record their contents and position. The first printed subject index was in 1467, in St. Augustine's De arte praedicandi, printed by Fust and Schoeffer in Mainz. The index included guide letters in the margin to help locate entries.
