A journey begins a lonely one...
Knowing the world and what surrounds it these days is not easy, because everything that moves sees you as a hunter or a prey.

I seek for a life, any form of life. Someone who rides with me on this journey, someone who makes it worth living, who gives me a reason to be part of the hunters and not the preys...

This lonely life can not last any longer. I'll search for you and find you, even if it takes me to hell, which i have the feeling that i just walked into...

Everwinter

I enter this city named Everwinter and I feel shivers that run through whole my body.

Everywhere I look I see destruction and the smell of death is so intense that I feel sick. Every form of life I encounter try to end mine or flee in fear.

I did not want to be locked in the Vault any longer, but I'm afraid of what I can find here and I'm even more afraid of what I might not find, a friend, a companion...

I feel Everwinter surrounding me, this city consumes us and gets inside our bones... I can hear the silent and distant screaming, crying and mourning, i hear the unknown whispering voices, messing with my mind but I face them and I fight with these dark thoughts trying to get back to the real world.

I can feel eyes lurking in the dark watching me, something that moves in the shadows of this strange forest. All around me is a real nightmare.

I will keep searching for you, I know you are here somewhere even if i don't know who you are or what you are but I refuse to believe that I am here all alone...

Everwinter

While I try to keep myself alive and fight with everything that is alive and even dead, I hear in the distance a noise that shakes my heart.

I run towards that sound that I recognize so well but long forgotten that it existed and I try to go as fast as my legs can run. I do not want to miss the only chance I have to end this lonely life.

I find you behind the huge pile of junk, small, furry and chasing you own tail. I laugh like i haven't done for a long time. You run towards me and jump into my arms.

Here begins our friendship and a new... kind of life.
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end."

Everwinter

Time passes by but everything remains the same.

Me and my loyal companion continue to search the city for something new, a place to live and not only to stay for another night but food and mostly try not to be the food for others.
We continue to search for life, someone with whom to contact and not just aim to their heads before they aim at ours.

One of those nights we heard something different and not the whispers and mournings but someone who was actually speaking.

Dogmeat knows better he should always remain quiet because our lives depend on silence but he quickly becomes alert and ready to attack.

"Come here boy, let's first see what is happening here" - I tell him in a whisper "Stay still".
