In the words of their own website, the Bad Ass Café, established in 1983, was and remains a landmark establishment in Irish tradition and culture. It has played host to a long and colourful history such as almost burning to the ground, being listed on the ‘Rock ‘N’ Stroll Tour’ of Dublin, housing one of the oldest cash payment systems in Ireland and employing the extremely talented Sinead O’Connor.

Treebus is a good cafe. I had wonderful soup there when I visited the town.

Stow on the Wold is a market town in Gloucestershire, England. It is situated on top of an 800 ft (244 m) hill, at the convergence of a number of major roads through the Cotswolds, including the Fosse Way (A429). The town was founded as a planned market place by Norman lords to take advantage of trade on the converging roads.
