The small photo-group who have met regularly with monthly themes has recently lost a member. One thing he loved was coastal black & white images, so our current theme is just that, as a tribute.

I'm not one for bleak landscapes normally, but I love driving over Birker Fell. There is always something of interest, and generally some colour in the Eskdale Fells or on the moor itself. This was just before sunset, and the clouds were scudding across the sky, leaving sunny patches to play over the land.
