Stone wheel outside the Old Butcher's Shop in Ravenglass (now a gift shop). Presumably this was once used to sharpen knives.

Signs like this are displayed prominently on the shoreline at Ravenglass. We heard the guns firing on several occasions during our stay, from the campsite in Ravenglass itself and even when out walking on the fells, ten miles from the coast.
