Between Irton Fell and Whin Rigg, Looking down Greathall Gill into Wasdale. Although this looks like an obvious place to descend, it soon turns into a precipitous and rocky ravine. The safe (but still steep) path is on the flanks of Whin Rigg, a little further on.
