In May 2018 I was in Perth, Western Australia for work. Prevailing winds and a controlled burn south of the city saw a dense cloud of smoke drift over the city right on sunset.
I was lucky enough to be in the heart of the CBD at the time and took quite a few frames - search my Samyang album for others from the day.
I'd originally flagged this one for treatment as a stark BnW but looking at the totally bonkers colours in PS I decided on a different kind of monochrome.
Not going to be to everyone's taste and I apologise for the absence of calm...

The sea-stack of Arnardrangur from the Dyrhólaey promontory, South Iceland.
The famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara stretches east to the sea-stacks of Reynisdrangar looming in the mist. The town of Vík is beyond the distant headland.
A new frame. I took quite a few frames on this day but this one has not been posted before. One of my previous postings has been taken down instead :-)

Mountains in the backshot are the beckoning Westfjords...
I'd like to recommend this part of Iceland but for two things - the road will shake your teeth out and the wind will blow them away :-)
