1960 Dodge Phoenix...
Bit of a local legend this car for those who know it and the owner. Doesn't get out much these days and has a thick layer of dust from sitting in the shed unloved.

A grape vine in very late autumn hanging over a wall in New Town.
From a walkabout with my second Fujinon 55-200. The first I sold when I came back from Iceland in 2015 but knowing I'm going back, it's time to get to know it again.
Posting to clear the back catalogue.

Late westering sun picks out Black Bluff brooding over the Fossey Range and numerous spot-lit ridge-lines, North West Tasmania.
Looking west from Claude Road on the slopes of Mt. Claude. Lower left, the view takes in the service roads, penstock and transmission lines of the Wilmot power station. Moina Road corkscrews up through the centre of the shot from the Cethana Dam on the Mersey River.
Major hydro-electric generation works associated with the Mersey-Forth Hydro Electric Scheme transformed sections of the North West Coast in the 1950s-60s. A combination of steep valleys and relatively high rainfall made the location ideal.
Mount Tor is at top/far right.

From the hill just past Bream Creek, there is an excellent view point out over Marion Bay towards Maria Island. Hellfire Bluff (and Cape Bernier just poking out behind it) dominate this shot with Mount Maria in the background to the right and Bishop and Clerk just poking up between them.
Maria Island is now a National Park and home to a sanctuary colony of Tasmanian Devils.
