Surtsey which appeared from the depths of the Atlantic in the early 60s is obscured by Suðurey.

A dark and gloomy Stokksnes lighthouse on the edge of the North Atlantic. South East Iceland.

Plainly the interesting weather was continuing but when this pic was taken there as actually a sunny break out over the ocean. Cloud ceiling above and behind was still at 100 feet!

Was in two minds about how to process this one but decided to keep the post-work down and allow the original highlight exposure to drive the mood and control the lack of saturation.
