Here some late-sunset cirrus mountain wave cloud is picked out against the deepening blue of night.
Basically looked out towards Mt Faulkner in the west and thought I'd better take a snap.
This is random test shot from the Contax Zeiss G 45/2 Planar 'Frankenzeiss' modded to M-Mount. Lens is dialled in as the 50/2 Summicron - seems about right.

The '17 Milton Rosé.
Tasmania's East Coast has quite a number of very good vineyards. My fave is Milton and my fave Milton is their Rosé.
Their cellar door, south of Bicheno, is a perfect spot to stop for lunch overlooking the vines.
I could not resist the back-light through the wine - shot with the Contax G 45/2 'Frankenzeiss' modded to M-Mount.
M240 M-P, Contax Zeiss G 45/2, 1/4000th sec at f/2, ISO 200.
*I have no commercial arrangement with Milton Estate.

Next door's rose hanging over the fence after a shower. One of the first shots from my latest/new Frankenzeiss - the Contax Zeiss G 35/2 Planar modded to M-Mount and fitted to the M240 M-P.
A much softer lens wide open than the 45/2 and quite "glowy" :-)

Waubs Bay, Bicheno, East Coast Tasmania.
Looking north from Jetty Beach on a splendid day.
Technically challenging shot - wide open with the 105/2.8 Super Multi Coated Takumar adapted to the M240 M-P.
Seems shooting wide-open into the sun tests both the lens and the Leica. Accidental really as the shot maxed out the shutter speed. Too used to electronic shutters on the other platforms - I'd been shooting a seagull right up close and noticed the paddlers - didn't think to stop down.
That said, there is something dreamy about the light and the soft focus.
Leica M240 M-P, Super Multi-Coated Takumar 105/2.8, 1/4000th sec at f/2.5, ISO 100
Should also mention it's the centre of a cropped portrait frame.
