Some years ago there was an advert displaying a flock of white sheep going in one direction with one black one intent on going the opposite way, and this tombstone is somewhat similar! The Meany family may have been obliged to take their grave plot where it is due to shortage of space, although I fancy that they may always have liked to go against the grain. Thanks to Niall McAuley and ɹǝqɯoɔɥɔɐǝq we now know this photo was taken in Gaffney's workyard in Waterford.
