I love this barren landscape, especially when the snow and ice turns it into a frozen tundra.

This morning we awoke to the sight of snow all along the mountaintops that form our bedroom window vista in Acharacle. It's only a dusting, but with the weather set to turn colder tonight and with gale force winds on Friday , then we should see alot more snow higher up
