2008.5.7.(Wed) 電機系李學智教授捐贈台北帝大第一任總長幣原坦先生墨寶直幅一卷予台大校史館永久典藏，由台大現任(10th)校長李嗣涔代表受贈。

臺北帝大總長幣原坦先生墨寶回歸臺大
幣原坦總長為臺大前身的臺北帝國大學第一任校長 (任期1928年3月至1937年8月)。今年（民國97年）臺大創校八十年，因緣際會，本校電機系校友黃友佳先生（59學年度畢業)得知幣原總長墨寶直幅一卷拍賣，會同系校友李學智教授探查確定臺大校史與幣原總長關係，並經藝術史研究所傅申教授專業鑑定。李學智教授慷慨解囊購得墨寶回贈母校永久典藏，於5月7日本校藝術季期間在校史館舉辦贈藏儀式，由臺大現任校長李嗣涔代表受贈。
Homecoming of President Taira Shidehara’s Brushwork
Taira Shidehara was the first president (March 1928 to August 1937) of the Taihoku Imperial University, the forerunner of the National Taiwan University (NTU). As it celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, NTU greatly appreciates the donation of one of the late president’s works of calligraphy by Professor Hsueh-Jyh Li (Department of Electrical Engineering, Class of 1971). The vertical scroll was first discovered at an auction by Professor Li’s fellow alumnus Mr. You-Jia Huang. After its authentication by Professor Shen Fu of the Graduate Institute of Art History, Professor Li acquired the work and kindly made a gift of it to his alma mater. The ceremony acknowledging the donation, presided over by President Si-Chen Lee, took place during the Arts Festival on May 7th.
