The New York Guard held Spring Initial Entry Training (IET) from March 27, 2023 to March 31, 2023 at Camp Smith Training Site. Twenty one students graduated IET 2023-1 with PV2 Scott Gandasegui being the distinguished graduate. Completing IET allows New York Guard soldiers to go on State Active Duty (SAD).
