Fluidr / Memorial for Junior - Lesandro Guzman Feliz by Trish Mayo

On the night of June 20, 2018 15 year old Lesandro Guzman Feliz known as Junior was attacked and killed by gang members. It was a case of mistaken identity and reportedly the store where he sought shelter did nothing to help him before or after he was stabbed. Instead Junior tried to crawl to a hospital that was located about a block away.

Junior was a good kid and dreamed of becoming a police officer. One of the murals depicts him wearing a uniform.

This series of photos documents the memorials erected to honor Junior and to express the grief of his neighborhood.
