Artist Kenseth Armstead "Boulevard Of African Monarchs"
This is the first sculpture in Armstead's "Sankofa" series. The sculpture commemorates the African diaspora and Black Lives Matter in monumental form. Using the traditional West African Tiebele house painting which is done my women the sculpture is meant to be entered and invites the visitor to connect with the structure.
