Looking through the walls of The Shed on the 4th Floor - there's still a lot of construction going on in the Hudson Yards.

Christo and Jeanne-Claude: The Gates And Unrealized Projects For New York City
To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's "The Gates' in Central Park there's an exhibit at The Shed. I had seen the original installation and this brought back memories. Great videos showing the manufacturing and work that went into installing the 7,503 gates along 23 miles of pathways in Central Park. It was also interesting to see how many people were opposed to the idea and absolutely hated it. The project was only up for a few weeks and attracted 4 million visitors. It took Christo and Jeanne-Claude years to get the approval and they financed the project through sales of their sketches and other items.
There are also models of other project proposals for the city that for one reason or another never happened.
