This bird had 2 young ones nearby but I was unable to get a good photo of all of them together. On a closer look at this photo she has 3 other little ones near her feet!

House sparrow in a gingko tree. Governors Island recently announced that they will be open year round, previously they were open from May to the end of October. First chance to see the trees in autumn color.
