I had previously seen Rappin' Max Robot at Mill Pond Park in front of the Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx and was delighted to see him again in Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn.

The Rappin' Max Robot sculpture was inspired by the comic book character created by Eric Orr 1986. The sculpture was fabricated by Welder Underground in Brooklyn from 7,000 pounds of steel.

Rappin' Max Robot will be installed permanently in Paris at Place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad next year.
