A short stop for Mary's first visit to the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct (apparently pronounced pont-ker-suck-tay.) designed and built by Thomas Telford and Williams Jessop, Pontcysyllte means 'the bridge that connects' and is 'the jewel in the crown' of this World Heritage Site.

It is an amazing structure and was a pleasant walk with dizzying views.
