For several years Neil took part in charity pantomime that the Sheffield South Police team performed. This was one of the character he played on year.
For people not from the UK, Pantomime is a tradition British theatre show usually based on a fairy story with some love interest where the leading man is played by a woman and there is a main woman character played by a man.
It is aimed at different levels so children will find it funny because grown ups are dressing up and acting daft, adults will find it funny through double entendres, and hidden jokes that kids wouldn't understand.
Often there is an animal which comprises of two people, one playing the head and the other playing the backside and it always includes the lines
"he's behind You!"
and
"Oh no it isn't" "Oh yes it is"
which are shouted back by the audience.
There is always a happy ending
Hope that is clear?
