We had a few days away in Bournemouth but actually found we were nearer to Christchurch so we spent far more time there. We had a bit of nice weather at Bournemouth Pier though.

The Crafty Tap on Christchurch High St was a great find. A modern styled micro pub with some excellent craft beers. Whilst accepting that "craft" isn't "cask" there are some great flavours that some of these little breweries produce and it always makes a night on the beer a bit more interesting in our opinion.

The Crafty Tap in particular was quite relaxed and the staff were very friendly. Worth dropping in if you are in the area.

I did like the Heartbreak stout and we both enjoyed Vibrant Forest Brewery's Stone Sap, a very refreshing IPA but not to be messed with at 6.8% 🍻We even brought 4 cans of it home!

We visited Medford just to look at the sea and found a great fresh fish shop on the head. We would have bought more but couldn't keep it cold not he way home, home the fresh prawns and cockles were wonderful as we walked along the sea front.
