Beer Hug is a Goose Island Hazy IPA, weighing in at 6.8% it was our beer of choice each visit. At $22 for a four pint jug a very reasonable price. The two free hotdogs helped manage the alcohol content.

We found this great bar on 9th Ave near W 44th Street. Great selection of beers at reasonable prices (for New York), friendly staff and clientele plus a free hotdog with every drink. We have eaten more hotdogs in those four nights than in the last four years. hotdogs.

The bar has a rich history and was rumoured to be a speakeasy as far back as 1919.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
