A CH-47 "Chinook" helicopter, operated by members of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 149th General Aviation Support Battalion, Oklahoma Army National Guard, drop a 1,200 pound round bale of hay on a cattle feeding area in Muskogee County. More than 100 cows that were stranded by floodwaters following heavy rains over the Memorial Day weekend were using the area. The Chinook's crew delivered more than 14,000 pounds of hay and 700 pounds of feed to the stranded animals during the one-day state active duty mission.PHOTO: Maj.
