Was looking for something to shoot for the theme when I noticed the kitchen floor!

I saved a few sparklers from Bonfire Night this year purely for photographic purposes. I clamped one in my wood vice (pretty much unused for its true use) and lit the top (after first flailing around in a pitch black garage, trying to relocate my camera).
Messed the first take up completely (forgot to reset the manual settings from my last experiment) the second time round managed to get a few keepers. This one is just after the lit sparkler began to burn down, not the shot I was originally after but preferred the composition. Will post a colour version soon!

I would have preferred to do my Project 52 'Orb' themed shot outside after trying the wire wool light painting technique briefly last year. But it's raining, and it never seems to stop.
Answer: Use a couple of LED lights indoors, not as impressive as setting light to wire wool but much less likely to involve loss of property. After a few unsuccessful solo attempts taken in the kitchen I wandered back into the lounge. Lindsay asks "what were you doing stumbling around in the dark?" "Swinging LED lights around" Unsurprised she asks "Do you want to try it in here, it's better than watching CSI?!" After a few takes (and a quick YouTube tutorial on the circular shuffling technique) we cracked it (kind of), with me on the camera and Lindsay doing the swirling!
