Unett Memorial
Lt-Col Thomas Unett served wih the 19th Foot Regiment in the Crimean War and fought in the battles of Alma, Balaclava and Inkerman. Unett was mortally wounded leading the attack on the Redan at the siege of Sebastopol and died 8th September 1855. Unett was honured with this Memorial as a Prominent Resident of Birmingham
