While at the funeral, Jack's daughter asked me if I would be a pall bearer and that Jack would have loved for me to be one. It was such an honor - I broke down right then and there.

Jack's Holley carburetor on his '68 Mustang needed an overhaul... I had done hundreds during my youthful years as a mechanic so this was a joyful walk down memory lane.

A modern day (i.e., safe for the environment) carburetor dip is behind the rags and vise. What is precious here is that "Big Jack" is talking to my "Little Jack". "Little Jack" was named after "Big Jack" as he was such a devoted and forgiving man.

...before it got painted blue...and before the 289 got swapped out for a 351 Windsor. For you car guys, you will note the carb is missing... That's because I was overhauling it!
