I have been able to locate graduates (albeit from after the war's end) of my father's high school shown above. These elderly graduates have been extremely kind and helpful.

They tell me the building in the background is their auditorium. The school was destroyed in the atomic blast. All students perished.

Translated, I believe Dad wrote that he was in his 4th year of high school, Class 20. Shown with classmates.

My guess is this is 1936 or 1937.
