Despite being 92 years old, dad is easily translating a document written by the Japanese during WWII. This is what he did as a Technical Sergeant, 3rd Grade in the US 8th Army, Military Intelligence Service, Allied Translator and Interpreter Service (ATIS) during the Occupation of Japan. He also interrogated Japanese soldiers that were being repatriated; they had been captured by the Soviets and kept for a couple of years.
