The ruin of medieval Fetternear House (also known as the Bishop’s Palace), near Kemnay, Aberdeenshire. The house was originally built in the early 1200s as a palace for the Bishops of Aberdeen. It became the seat of the Leslie family in 1566, but has been abandoned since a fire in 1919. Its ruin is a highlight of the lovely Fetternear Estate.
