Fluidr / 1711_0879 Black-billed Magpie by wild prairie man

Casual avian aerobatics: a sleek Black-billed Magpie tucks its feet and dives from the top of a stack of hay bales, while a chunky Sharp-tailed grouse looks on.

This part of the park is on recently acquired land - outside of the bison area - where grazing permits still exist, so hay bales and fence lines are still in place, along with a few historic ranch buildings.
