Fluidr / 2205_2899 Piping Plover by wild prairie man

A rare shorebird, endangered in Canada, this Piping Plover was a lifer for me. I was lying in the muck at Reed Lake, photographing American Avocets, Sanderlings, and Stilt Sandpipers, when I looked up to see the plover watching me. All I had to do was focus and shoot.
