Another shot from a winter walkabout through the village. The tractor was in a field, waiting its turn to be serviced by the guy who runs a shop that does these things. I started with pulled-back views that included the street, trees, snow and frost on everything, then moved in closer to shoot the tires, the exhaust pipes, and more. Sometimes the beauty is in the details.

I realize, of course, that the holiday season continues; this shot is from three years ago. Mornings like this, with a coat of hoarfrost clinging to everything, are rare; I think we've had only one this month. I'm hoping for more as we move deeper into winter. Anything that transforms reality is welcome, within reason (no natural disasters, please).
This is the prairie village I have called home since 2011.
