Miss Piggy turned up in the yard on a bright January morning, and we threw her some apples. She had escaped from a local pig farm and was having a great adventure in town. I had to feel bad for her, because there was no hope: even if she managed to escape her owners, the wild prairie is no place for a pig! The coyotes would get her. So this would be Miss Piggy's one and only Big Adventure, a self-guided tour of Val Marie, Saskatchewan. Scanned from the original Fujichrome Velvia slide, January 2001.
