Here's an eleven-image self-portrait panorama, captured in a small redwood plantation near to where I'm living now.
There are three types of people (in my opinion)... those who prefer beaches and oceans, those who most enjoy hiking high up in the mountains, and those who love exploring the forests. Of course, many of us will enjoy all three, but all of us will prefer doing one more than the other two.
I'm clearly a forest person (in case you hadn't noticed). There's too much sand on the beaches and the ocean is always too cold for my liking. And hiking in the mountains definitely includes walking uphill for extended periods, which I'm not very good at anymore. The forest is my happy place. I could sit on this fallen tree for hours doing absolutely nothing. The positive natural energy here is almost overwhelming to me.
Where is your happy place? Are you a beach, mountains or forests sort of person? :)
