From here, we saw a few Jeeps going into race track, I was tempted, but seeing the warning of 4wd and high profile vehicles required. I turned around and to other places in the park before going home that evening!

The Oosterdam sailed from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia via the Beagle Channel. On the way the ship passed five glaciers in Parque Nacional Alberto de Agostini in Tierra del Fuego.

The next stop on our South America cruise was to Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.
Ushuaia is located on the southern coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego and was founded in 1884.
The island is surrounded by the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, and separated from the continent by the Strait of Magellan and bordered to the south by the Beagle Channel.
The city is a gateway to Antartica cruises.
