Fei did the driving...a Suzuki Vitara 4x4. This is road from airport to Reykjavik. We were thankful that it was a 4x4 on a few narrow, gravel roads that led to some of the attractions. Drivers must have lights on at all times driving. In Reykjavik (capital of Iceland) there were roundabouts galore (instead of some traffic lights).

The Mid-Atlantic Rift passes through park, with the North American plate and the Eurasian plate. We did not find the major ravine that is used for snorkeling, but here are some cracks in the rock.
