And it was 1st of March yesterday.... a new month, after a depressing February. So much has changed in the world. So many unthinkables have happened/are happening. I have a new grandaughter, and a grandson on the way. What sort of world are they coming in to?
Yet it strikes me that some things remain the same. There's safety in that thought, that life will go on. Yes, cows! Highland cows. Timeless. Always the same shaggy coat. And pointy horns. They put a smile on your face which ever bit of wet and boggy Highland ground you see them stood in. Thank Heavens for Highland coos. They will always be there to say, " You fuck up your world as much as you want, but we're staying here and we like this tuft of tired old brown grass. Mmmmm"

I was going to carry on home but something told me I should stop to talk. And as we did so, one suggested it would be fun to play hide and seek. I was 'it' first, but the game didn't last very long.
