He's quite famous and has appeared in Braveheart, Rob Roy, Highlander, etc, etc, as you might expect the way he dresses. He appeared out of the bushes (having gone in for a pee), like many Highlanders might have for the gathering of the clan forces at the raising of Bonnie Prince Charlies army in 1745 that saw the start of the Jacobite Rebellion.

Some guests are not well prepared for our part of the world. For instance, on arrival asking where there is a supermarket, or a MacDonald's. It's a question that makes me laugh. There are MacDonalds all over the place, with quite a lot of them in this picture.

By the way, how many electronic devices do you take on holiday with you? A recent reviewer of our B&B suggested more electronic outlets in their room would be better. I checked their room and counted no less than 13 mains sockets, and that doesn't include the ones hidden behind the bed head and behind the chest of drawers. How many do they need?
