For the month of February, a selection of my works will be in a display window at the Darien, IL library. The library was interested in having our club do a display there, but since we are currently booked into next year we held off on any commitment yet. However, they also said that if anyone wanted, they had a large display case where we could put in a small display for a month. I volunteered.

On display here are (top to bottom, left to right):
Banshee and Immortal
Dexter's Diner
Illinois State Police
Fabyan Windmill from Geneva, IL
Blues Mobile
Geneva House
Hoth Base
Pirate Maxifig Statue

This weekend mark's our 7th annual show at the Geneva Public Library. The librarian Carol, who first asked our club to display and has been one of our greatest supporters since, has recently retired. This little diorama is our club's gift to her in thanks for all her help and support. This is based on a small picture of her 'dream beach house', which she always displayed on her computer at work.

This is my third Geneva building I've done now. This is a home of some possible historical significance in that town - not sure what it is, it's probably just old.
This was done barely in time for my club's show this weekend at the Geneva Historical Society.
2 hours spent on Tuesday night planning, 5 hours Wednesday night building. Man... buildings are freakin' EASY!

NILTC did a show at the Geneva history center, and one thing we did for them was that each of us made a historic building from Geneva. I picked this old dutch windmill. I stopped by the real windmill on the way home to shoot this photo.

For the show, I put it in the middle of my layout and gave it some juice: youtube.com/watch?v=Gp11XE4Y42E
