Completed in time for Brickworld 2012, my newest creation is based off of the RAM Restaurant and Brewery building in Wheeling, Illinois. This building is directly across from the Westin Hotel, which is where Brickworld has been held from 2007 until now. I've eaten here multiple times each year, and each time I saw the building I wondered how I might build it. This year I finally decided to do it.
This took me 5 weeks to build, starting around the beginning of May. The building and grounds measure a total of 40"x50, and is roughly 11" tall.

This vat is actually much too large in comparison with the real one, but I liked being able to use those large curved pieces on the top.

Using Google Maps, I was able to get the dimensions of the building and rooftops as close as I could to the original. Further detail was more speculative since Google Maps gets a bit blurry at that level.

To get the windows to stretch the whole way across I had to use these small ones - but I hide them behind the big vat so they're not too noticeable. Ideally I would have only used the biggest window for this section.
