A shot I'd totally forgotten about taking as it was in a file from a different trip and this was shot as I was making my way back North.
This scene is now totally transformed as The Power Station Project is now complete, at the time it did strike me as being reall;y photogenic with all the lighting and the red crane tips to alert passing aircraft to the danger of them.
I recall taking this and the tripod wouldn't go high enough to get right over the railings on the other side of the Thames so i had to balance the camera between the railing tops and tie it down before using the self timer, a bit of a faff around but hopefully worth it...
Being a Sunday there was no work going on so the Cranes were all perfectly still.
