We (like a lot of the UK) have experienced some really heavy rainfall in the last week or so, also some localised floowing, so, what better place to head to than a little hidden Waterfall I know about 5 miles from me...
The walk to get to it was 'interesting' with some severe slipping and sliding going on but amazingly I managed to stay upright for once! you could hear before getting to it that it was really flowing well and I wasn't dissapointed.
I had about an hour here trying various different compositions and things I hadn't shot before and to be honest it was superb to just be out again in nature with the camera.
I got 3 or 4 images that I really like from the shoot and this one is maybe my favourite with the larger area being ignored to concentrate just just a small section of the falls making for a totally different image toi any I've taken here before. The only filter I've used here is a NiSi Landscape Polariser, which when shooting at f/11 gave me an ideal shutter speed of between 1.6 and 2 seconds on each image with the ISO pushed up a little.
